Throughout his 35-year lighting career, Dave has been involved in cutting-edge technology. As an engineer, he was involved in the development of the low-wattage, low-current instrumentation lighting for the Apollo program. His knowledge of the lighting industry allows him to offer his clients the technology they need to be assets to their companies.
On industry evolution, Dave believes that both technology and federal energy guidelines are pushing the lamp-development envelope. Federal energy guidelines mandate that higher efficiency sources be developed and energy-efficient lighting designs implemented, both at the manufacturer and design levels, where there is a responsibility to meet energy codes.
Taking into account industry evolution, Dave sees Wiedenbach-Brown forging ahead. "Considering the competitive nature of the marketplace and the need to stay abreast of technological changes, Wiedenbach-Brown brings the best value-added service to clients." |

Increasing Traffic: New signage was positioned slightly behind a mannequin in the display window of a well-known retail chain store. The existing lamps used for lighting the display in the store window did not provide sufficient light levels for both the sign and mannequin, reducing visibility of the store offering.
Lighting Engineer: After evaluating the level of light in the display window, Dave determined the existing recessed receptacle did not allow for 360-degree rotation of the lamp. His solution was to add a state-of-the-art T5 lighting fixture that would flood light into the area, washing both the mannequin and the sign.
Value Delivered: The new fixtures attract customers to the store and improve light levels, while creating more vibrant colors and adding ambient light on the display.
