The Retail Design Institute – a leading authority and longtime industry bellwether – recently awarded two accolades to Pirch, a revolutionary retail concept specializing in premium lifestyle products for the home, from indoor and outdoor kitchens and laundry appliances to bath fixtures and decorative plumbing.
The honors – one an Award of Merit for best retail concept in the highly-contested “Hard-line” category, the other a best-in-show, worldwide, for in-store signage and graphics – were given to its flagship Costa Mesa store, which is slated to serve as a prototype for the company’s aggressive, nationwide expansion plans.
“We are humbled and delighted to have received these prestigious awards, especially within such a crowded and competitive field, where thousands of entries vied for these honors”, said Jeffery R. Sears, the company’s CEO. “We would like to congratulate FITCH for the tireless dedication, remarkable creativity, unparalleled expertise and infinite passion their team brought to the project, and look forward to our continued collaboration as we expand Fixtures Living’s presence – and spread our unique form of joy – to new and exciting markets across the United States.”
Pirch currently serves customers in three Southern California locations, in San Diego, Rancho Mirage and Costa Mesa. An announcement of the store’s fourth and fifth locations is expected in the first quarter of 2012.
