Marriott Louisville Downtown hosts high-end galas, weddings, and receptions, so the hotel’s event space must be perfect.
WB started work at the hotel with a lighting retrofit that would cut energy use and keep the current aesthetic. It quickly morphed into a “Phase II” full lighting control upgrade.
Scope: Replacement of outdated incandescent, halogen, and fluorescent technology with premium LEDs plus Lutron lighting controls.
Duration: Less than six months to upgrade the Marriott’s stunning lobby, hallways, and parking garage to LED lamps and add lighting control system to 30 meeting rooms, pre-function areas, and restaurants.
Results & Impact
This $600K budgeted project produced a 3.2 year ROI and approximately 400,000 kWh per year in energy savings!
